Where is The Shay Stadium?
- The Shay is on the south side of Halifax on the A629 arterial road between Halifax and Huddersfield.
- From the West, leave the M62 at Junction 24 and follow the A629 into Halifax. Pick up signs for Eureka! and the Railway Station (some include 'The Shay'). The ground is just before Eureka! on the left.
- From the East, leave the M62 at Junction 26 and follow the A58 into Halifax. Pick up signs for Eureka! and the Railway Station ('The Shay' does feature on these signs) and the ground is 200 yards past Eureka! on the right-hand side.
Is there any car parking?
Due to charges incurred by HBOS the multi-storey car park only opens when the North Stand is opened. There is plenty of on-road parking and also at Glynn Webb adjacent to the ground (will charge). Disabled car parking is available at Hunger Hill by pass only - please apply to the club. There are a limited number of spaces for wheelchair users only in the main Weavers car park on a first come first served basis.
How far is it from the railway or bus station ?
The Railway station is a five minute walk - turn left at the lights and keep walking.
The Bus station is a ten minute walk - turn right and keep walking.
What are the admission prices for the 2008 National League One season?
Adults £14 whether you choose to sit or stand, with £9 for concessions and £5 for Juniors.
* Concessions are OAP's and Full-Time Students. Juniors are 16 and under.
Are tickets available in advance?
Not at the moment.
Is the ground segregated or can you enter through any turnstile?
Once in the ground, spectators can choose whether to stand in the South Stand or sit in the Skircoat Stand and movement is allowed between both areas. For games that attract a large away support, the North Stand will be open to visitors supporters.

Is there a licensed bar either inside or outside the ground open to ordinary spectators?
Situated inside the ground, the South Stand Lounge is a public bar and all visiting supporters are welcome. Outlets underneath the South Stand and at the Hunger Hill entrance will be open before kick-off and at half-time. There are also a number of friendly hostelries within 5 minutes walk of the ground.
Where are the refreshment kiosks inside the ground?
The Skircoat stand is served from refreshment kiosks at the Hunger Hill end of the ground. The North Stand has its own outlet at the back of the terracing and the South Stand has outlets on entry into the ground.
Where can you buy a programme?
Programmes are available both outside and inside the ground as you pass through the turnstiles priced at £2.
Is there a disabled area?
There are disabled viewing areas at the front of both the North and South Stand and to the rear of the Skircoat Stand (access via Hunger Hill). Wheelchair users and an escort are admitted at our Concession price. Call at the matchday office for further details. Is there a souvenir/merchandise outlet open on matchdays?
There is a small shop situated inside the ground next to the South Stand turnstiles.
What is the regular matchday and kick-off time?
Sunday afternoon at 3.00pm (subject to change).
