Biography
There seems little doubt that Barker, a close season recruit from Harlequins, will be a probable fixture in Fax's matchday 17 over the next nine months.The big question is where Matt Calland will employ the versatile 24 year old, whose last two National League seasons - with Hull KR and Castleford - ended in promotion.
Barker bagged the number six when club bosses doled out the shirts before Christmas, but previous form suggests a place in the pack, either the second row or as a ball-playing loose forward, is a more likely destination.
Wherever he ends up, Barker will bring a priceless ability to play almost anywhere on the park.
