It has been confirmed that Dean Clough based Northern Powerhouse Developments are the company that will feature as the main sponsor on the soon-to-be-launched 2017 Halifax RLFC home shirt.
The Dean Clough based business, which builds and manages hotels and student accommodation throughout the UK, also features on the home kit of FC Halifax Town. They replace MBi Consulting Ltd who spent 2016 as main sponsor for both clubs.
“I am delighted that we are able to show support to sport in the Town through these sponsorships,” said NPD’s Head of Business Development Ben Dews.
“We are a local business in every respect and endeavour to invest in the community where we work and live”.
Ye Olde Oak had previously been announced as the main sponsor on the new shirt, which is to be unveiled at the recently announced supporters function taking place at The Shay on November 16th.
“We are obviously very disappointed that Ye Olde Oak won’t in fact be taking up their sponsorship options for next year,” said Commercial Director Chris Murgatroyd.
“There have been issues which could not be resolved to everyone’s satisfaction and they have now decided not to go ahead.
“I would like to place on record our sincere gratitude for everything Mark Rose and Ye Olde Oak have done for the Club over the last few years and hope they will be able to return in the future.
“I would also like to thank Ben and Gavin at Northern Powerhouse Developments for stepping up as they have at short notice. I look forward to working with them into what promises to be a cracking season.”
