Halifax RLFC travel to The Odsal Stadium Good Friday to take on Bradford Bulls as Fax look for three straight victories for the first time in 2017.
Fax head into this fixture on the back of a fine run of form, having won six of their last eight matches in all competitions, with their only two defeats in that time coming to the Championship's top two, Hull KR and Toulouse.
This fine form has been built upon a resolute defence as only Hull KR and Featherstone Rovers have conceded fewer points than Halifax this season. In four of their last seven matches, Fax have been able to limit the opposition to scoring just one try each game.
However, Halifax's stern defence will have to be at its best on Friday as they take on one of the division's most prolific attacks in Bradford. The Bulls have scored the most points out of any side outside the top two, notching 284 points in nine matches this season.
Bradford have scored over 40 points in each of their last three league matches at Odsal, having put 48 past Sheffield, 56 past Dewsbury, and 44 past Batley.
Like Halifax, Bradford have enjoyed an upturn in form as of late, having claimed victory in five of their last seven Championship matches, with notable wins over top-four challengers Toulouse and Batley Bulldogs.
Halifax may be able to take confidence from their recent strong record against Bradford, having beaten the Bulls four times in the two sides' last five meetings.
However, it was Bradford who came out on top in the most recent fixture between these two sides as they won 44-22 at Odsal in the Championship Shield in August.
