Halifax RLFC return to the MBi Shay Stadium to face the Super 8s Qualifiers leaders Salford Red Devils in round three of the competition.
Halifax have suffered defeats in their opening two matches of the Qualifiers, against Toronto and Toulouse, and face Super League opposition for the first time this season.
Salford currently top the Qualifiers after victories over Hull KR and Widnes after the opening couple of rounds.
Head to Head
Salford ran out as comfortable winners when the two sides last met competitively at the MBi Shay Stadium back in 2015.
Niall Evalds, Greg Johnson and Ben Jones-Bishop all bagged a hat-trick of tries each in a 50-28 win in West Yorkshire, whilst Scott Murrell, James Saltonstall and Jacob Fairbank were amongst the Fax scorers.
Steve Tyrer was added to the injury list following the 28-6 defeat to Toulouse a fortnight ago, after the centre suffered an injury which may rule him out until the end of the season.
Fellow centre Ed Barber is a confirmed absentee for the rest of the 2018 campaign after picking up a knee injury against Toronto, although Adam Tangata returns to the squad for the first time since the visit to London in July.
Harry Kidd remains sidelined with an ACL injury.
