Brandon Moore signs for Halifax RLFC for the 2019 season. The Sought-after hooker who has been a real eye-catcher within the 17/18 season has agreed to sign a new contract extension. 2017 and 2018 have been so much as breakthrough years for Brandon Moore, who became a regular first-teamer after coming through the club's reserve grade last year. After closely missing out on the Betfred young player of the year last season, he was also nominated for young player of the year this season which he also was not successful with. Can next year be the year?
Moore picked up the 1st Team Players Player of the Year Award as well as the Top tackler Award last night at the Halifax Supporters Awards and he is looking very keen to carry on developing and push himself to the limit.
Head Coach Richard Marshall, in September, said;
“ He’s an unsung character in our team. When you look at tries scored, he’s always in the picture. He’s always in the frame when something good has happened, he makes himself available when someone’s on the ball and he’s improved that area of his game.”
Moore is also the only player to have played every game for his side this season if he should play this Sunday when Halifax RLFC will end their 2018 campaign with a trip to the capital to face London Broncos on Saturday evening (7:05 pm kick-off).
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Arena and will be the third meeting between the two sides this season.
