Halifax RLFC are delighted to officially announce the signing of French international Kevin Larroyer on a 1-year deal.

The second rower scored 9 tries in his 26 game spell at Leigh last season and has opted for the Halifax move.

When asked about the new recruit, Head coach Richard Marshall said:

“He’s been on our radar for a few weeks now. Obviously, we had to wait whilst he was still contracted at Leigh so we didn’t want to approach him whilst all that was going on but it got settled and we dove straight in.”

“He was desperate to come. He knew we had something good here and he's got some experience and hopefully, he can help bring the other lads on”

“Massive Thanks to Laurence Turner at Investing for Tomorrow who has completely financed the deal which is outstanding for us. We’re really happy that our local sponsors are really backing us this year with Fax 1 supporters club helping also.”

At his first training session Kevin Larroyer shared a few words on his move:

“I’m delighted and can’t wait to get started.”

“It’s a real quality club I’m joining here and I know it’s going to be tough to get a spot in the team but I’m happy and looking forward to the challenge.”

Kevin Larroyer becomes Marshalls 7th signing of the 2019 campaign alongside Shaun Robinson, Ben Kavanagh, Ben White, QLT, Liam Cooper and Reece Chapman-Smith.

Don’t forget season tickets are still on sale!
