Halifax RLFC will aiming to strengthen their position in the top five when they host Dewsbury Rams at the MBi Shay Stadium this Sunday.
Halifax recorded their third win in their last four Betfred Championship matches after coming from behind to defeat Swinton 18-16 at the Shay last weekend.
That victory leaves them on six points, just four behind unbeaten table-topping Toronto Wolfpack.
Dewsbury have won just one of their first four matches, with a 38-24 at The Tetley’s Stadium last month. They are tough defensively though, with Bradford the only side outside the top three to concede less points.
Head to Head
Fax have unbeaten in their last four against Dewsbury, with three wins and a draw during that time. Chester Butler scored twice while debutant Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e was also on the scoresheet during a 46-18 away win back in April.
The Rams caused Halifax a shock the following month when a late Paul Sykes penalty secured a 22-22 draw at the Shay.
Richard Marshall makes just two changes to the squad that played Swinton last week, with Ed Barber and Reece Chapman-Smith coming into the side.
Chester Butler and Connor Davies remain absent with quad and ankle injuries respectively while Sion Jones is missing due to a knee injury.
Halifax squad: Ed Barber, Reece Chapman-Smith, Liam Cooper, Jacob Fairbank, Dan Fleming, Shane Grady, Simon Grix, Ben Johnston, Ben Kavanagh, Ben Kaye, Kevin Larroyer, Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e, Brandon Moore, Elliot Morris, Scott Murrell, Shaun Robinson, James Saltonstall, Will Sharp, Steve Tyrer
