From The Boardroom
On the back of feedback from many of you, direct to me, and also at the recent Question & Answer, the Club's Board is trying to make a concerted effort to improve getting relevant communication out to our fan base. My first update is around the work that has been done putting together new managament teams and recruitment to improve the infrastructure of Halifax RLFC.
Several new teams have been set up, which I will explain the objectives of in future posts but please join me in welcoming our enhanced backroom programme additions. Fans Liaison Officer Gary Bray continues with his new role and will shortly be sending you all a Newsletter informing you of all things going on at the club. Commercial Team of Pete McNamara and Tony Lee who have already delivered some superb and very welcome financial results.
Fax Brand Awareness in the Calderdale Community Team of which David Durbin has already been hard at work and now has Nathan Farrar, Brett Enright and Jacob Thewliss joining him.
A New Media Team of Jamie Gray and Rick Farrell have already improved the quality and frequency of posts on social media that has been noted by various people in RFL circles.
New Marketing Team headed up by Richard Durgan with help from vastly industry-experienced brother Jonny, and Jamie Gray.
Finally the largest team, newly set up, will be our Match Day Experience Team who will be looking at all pre, during and post match customer experience initiatives for ALL our fans. Gary and Lynne Bray, Terry Bratley, Jamie Gray, Tony Lee, Chris Mitchell, Jason Woodman, Joanne Ambler, with Dwayne Tetley advising his ideas from Australia!
It's been a busy time for sure!
